About the RoleKwiqr Travels is looking for a detail-oriented and highly responsible Accountant to manage finance operations and ensure strong financial control across travel business activities. The role requires ownership of supplier reconciliation, sales reporting, MIS preparation, ticketing controls, and overall financial accuracy to support business growth.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & AccountingMaintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure timely bookkeeping.
• Verify and record all financial transactions accurately.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal processes.
• Supplier ReconciliationConduct regular reconciliation of airline, hotel, travel partner, and supplier accounts.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
• Ensure supplier statements are updated and matched with company records.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records and reports.
• Sales Reporting & System ManagementEnsure all daily sales transactions are accurately uploaded into the system without delay.
• Monitor sales data for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile daily sales with ticket issuance and collections.
• Coordinate with operations teams to resolve mismatches.
• MIS & Financial ReportingPrepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Generate monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Provide financial analysis and business performance insights.
• Support management with budgeting and financial planning requirements.
• Ticketing & Revenue ControlMaintain complete control and monitoring over ticket issuance activities.
• Ensure ticket issuance follows approved processes and policies.
• Track ticket sales, cancellations, refunds, and adjustments.
• Identify and prevent revenue leakage, duplicate transactions, or unauthorized activities.
• Coordinate with operations and ticketing teams for issue resolution.
• Internal Controls & Process ManagementEstablish and strengthen financial controls and reporting systems.
• Monitor compliance with internal procedures.
• Assist in audits and documentation requirements.
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• CA Inter / CMA / relevant finance qualifications preferred.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (travel industry experience preferred).
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in supplier reconciliations and MIS reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Knowledge of travel industry systems (Amadeus, airline reconciliations, BSP, etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely completion of supplier reconciliations.
• 100% daily sales reporting accuracy.
• Timely submission of monthly P&L and MIS reports.
• Zero revenue leakage in ticket issuance processes.
• Accuracy of financial reporting and controls.

This role requires someone who can take complete ownership of financial discipline and operational controls within Kwiqr Travels.
