Job Description

Position Summary

The Facility & Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing three core areas at our residential real estate project in Jaipur, Rajasthan: the cleaning and maintenance of all common areas, the management of on-site security personnel, and the upkeep and maintenance of individual flats. This is a hands-on, on-site role that requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple service teams effectively. The right candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the property and ensure a high standard of living experience for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning & Maintenance of Common Areas

•    Supervise daily cleaning and upkeep of all common areas including the club, corridors, staircases, lifts, washrooms, stilt, and basement.

•    Ensure all common areas are presentable, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times to reflect the quality standards of the project.

•    Schedule and monitor regular deep-cleaning, pest control, and sanitation activities across all common zones.

•    Manage housekeeping staff deployed in common areas — attendance, duty rosters, and on-ground performance.

•    Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables; coordinate procurement as needed.

•    Promptly address complaints or observations related to cleanliness or upkeep from residents or management.


2. Security Personnel Management

•    Oversee the deployment and day-to-day functioning of security personnel across the project premises.

•    Coordinate with the security agency to ensure adequate guard coverage at all entry/exit points, common areas, and the basement/stilt at all times.

•    Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and discipline of security staff; escalate issues to the agency when required.

•    Ensure security personnel follow proper visitor management, vehicle entry, and access control protocols.

•    Conduct regular checks to verify guards are alert, properly stationed, and following site-specific instructions.

•    Act as the key liaison between the security agency and project management for any incidents or concerns.


3. Maintenance of Flats

•    Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair work reported by residents across individual flats.

•    Log all maintenance requests, assign to appropriate technicians or vendors, and ensure timely resolution.

•    Conduct periodic inspections of vacant and occupied flats to identify maintenance needs proactively.

•    Liaise with plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and other tradespeople for flat-level repairs and upkeep.

•    Maintain proper records of all maintenance work carried out, including job cards, material used, and completion status.

•    Ensure resident satisfaction by following up on completed work and addressing any recurring issues effectively.

Qualifications

Education

•    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Facility Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

•    Diploma holders with strong relevant experience will also be considered.


Experience

•    Minimum 4–6 years of experience in facility management, property management, or housekeeping operations — preferably in a real estate, hospitality, or township project.

•    Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

•    Prior experience working on residential/commercial real estate projects in Rajasthan or similar markets is a strong advantage.

•    Familiarity with working with local contractors, vendors, and municipal authorities in Jaipur.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•    Working knowledge of building systems, civil maintenance, and property upkeep in a real estate context.

•    Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to handle diverse on-ground staff.

•    Good communication skills in Hindi (required) and English (preferred).

•    Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

•    Basic proficiency in MS Office or facility/property management software.


Physical Requirements

•    Ability to walk the site regularly, climb stairs, and be present across different areas of the project.

•    Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor conditions across Rajasthan's varying climate.

•    Availability to respond to on-site emergencies beyond regular working hours as needed.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our real estate project in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The role requires regular presence across the project site and may involve extended hours during key project phases, handovers, or emergencies.
