General Manager

The candidate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the branch, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a keen focus on optimizing processes to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee and manage all branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across departments.
• Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational data, financials, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight.

• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Oversee service quality to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage branch staff, fostering a culture of performance excellence and teamwork.
• Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
• Manage branch budgets, cost controls, and financial planning to achieve business targets.
• Drive process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the financial services, insurance, or banking sector.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of driving operational excellence.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to branch operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and operational management tools.
