Job Description
The candidate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the branch, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a keen focus on optimizing processes to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee and manage all branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across departments.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational data, financials, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and risk management guidelines.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Oversee service quality to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage branch staff, fostering a culture of performance excellence and teamwork.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
- Manage branch budgets, cost controls, and financial planning to achieve business targets.
- Drive process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the financial services, insurance, or banking sector.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of driving operational excellence.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to branch operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and operational management tools.
