Junior Civil Engineer

Position Overview

Arch Point is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer (Fresher) to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. This role is ideal

for recent graduates who want hands-on exposure in residential and commercial construction projects under architectural supervision.

The candidate will assist in site supervision, quality checks, contractor coordination,

and execution monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Monitoring.

● Monitor civil works such as excavation, RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring, and

finishing.

● Ensure work execution as per approved architectural and structural drawings.

● Report site progress to the Project Manager.

2. Quality Control

● Check materials delivered on site.

● Assist in maintaining quality standards as per project specifications.

● Ensure proper curing, alignment, and workmanship quality.

3. Measurement & Billing Support

● Take site measurements and prepare basic quantity reports.

● Assist in verifying contractor bills.

● Help in BOQ tracking and material consumption monitoring.

4. Coordination

● Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site supervisors.

● Assist architects and senior engineers in resolving site-level issues.

● Participate in site meetings and maintain MOM (Minutes of Meeting).

5. Documentation & Reporting

● Maintain daily site reports.

● Keep records of drawings and revisions.

● Update project progress sheets.

Skills Required

● Basic understanding of RCC structure and construction processes.

● Ability to read civil and architectural drawings.

● Good communication and coordination skills.

● Willingness to work on-site (field-based role).

● Basic knowledge of Drawings and AutoCAD preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

● B.Tech in Civil Engineering

● Freshers or up to 1 year of experience can apply.

● Strong learning attitude and commitment to site work.

● Must be comfortable with the field/site environment.
