Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Reading and reviewing order slips to accurately locate items on shelves.
  • Packing & Labeling: Packing items securely to prevent damage, applying shipping labels, and scanning items into systems.
  • Inventory Control: Updating records of packed items, assisting with cycle counts, and restocking shelves.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting items for defects or damages before sealing packages.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to warehouse safety regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift heavy objects (often up to 50 lbs).
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring the correct items and quantities are shipped.
  • Efficiency: Working in a fast-paced environment to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with scanners, conveyor systems, or warehouse management software.
  • Time Management: Organizing tasks to meet daily productivity goals. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
