Project Support Engineer

A purpose driven role for you

This role is required to support the COC lead in supporting all the project activities, tracking the timelines and ensuring the delivery within the given CTQ targets.

A Day in the life

Project Management/ Product Development
• Integration of specific project deliverables basis company internal process and best fitting of project management theory
• Support in tracking department deliverables w. r. to particular project
milestones.
• Support micro level schedule preparation (in MS Projects) with team and alignment of the same in line with project schedule.
• Project Facilitation /support as requested by team for smooth progress of project.
• Bridging the gap between interdepartmental activities.
• Supporting in tacking the micro activities in line with company and R&D development processes which are in line with Global levels
• Generating innovative ideas to improve control of time cost and quality
• Support and create clear side effect chart for each project spec. change
(risk management)
Project Dashboard
• All Cost/weight targets v/s actual status tracking & update.
•Problem Tracking and closure

CTQ Monitoring at Project Level:
• Provide transparency of progress in weekly project meetings, monthly
forecast and status report updates in terms of Cost, Time & Quality (CTQ)
• New Model bill of materials check w. r. to base and change parts list

Academic Qualification & Experience

Graduation in Engg.- Electrical & Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1) Preferred Experience in Automotive Industry in similar role or Development role
2) Preferred project Management experience in automotive industry
3) Good knowledge over MS-Project and MS-Office, Preferred knowledge of Team Center schedule Manager, including resource and management loading, SAP, Product life cycle management
