ob SummaryThe Hospital Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations, welcoming patients and visitors, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring a professional and patient-friendly environment at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient HandlingGreet patients and visitors courteously and professionally.Assist patients with registration and appointment booking.Guide patients to the concerned departments, doctors, or diagnostic areas.Address patient queries and provide accurate information regarding hospital services.Front Desk OperationsManage incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.Maintain patient registration records and update hospital software.Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and departments regarding patient appointments.Handle billing-related queries and direct patients to the concerned department.Administrative DutiesMaintain visitor logs and patient records.Prepare daily reports of appointments and patient visits.Manage hospital correspondence, emails, and documents.Ensure confidentiality of patient information as per hospital policies.Customer ServiceResolve patient concerns politely and escalate issues when required.Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the reception area.Support patient satisfaction initiatives and service quality standards.Required QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (preferred).Diploma/Certification in Front Office Management is an added advantage.Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility preferred.Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.Skills RequiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Management Software.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and patient handling.Working ConditionsRotational shifts as per hospital requirements.Ability to work on weekends and public holidays when required.Professional dress code and grooming standards must be maintained.SalaryAs per company standards and candidate experience.
