Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the selection of engagement rings, fine jewelry, and luxury timepieces.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding gemstones, precious metals, diamond grading (the 4Cs), and brand history.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a personal client book by following up on purchases, announcing new collections, and managing special orders.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure jewelry displays are impeccably clean, well-lit, and arranged according to brand standards.
- Inventory Control: Perform daily opening and closing counts of high-value stock and assist with inventory audits.
- Security Compliance: Strictly adhere to store security protocols regarding the handling of merchandise and showroom safety.
- Required Skills & QualificationsProven Sales Track Record: Experience in luxury retail or high-end hospitality is preferred.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to articulate technical details (like gemstone clarity) with poise and clarity.
- Interpersonal Savvy: Strong emotional intelligence to handle sensitive or high-pressure gift-buying situations.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in handling delicate items and processing financial transactions.
- Professionalism: Polished appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury environment.
