Job SummaryThe Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, business growth, profitability, and customer service of the branch. The role involves leading the branch team, achieving business targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of the branch efficiently.
• Achieve branch business targets for deposits, loans, CASA, insurance, and other banking products.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise branch staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal policies, KYC/AML guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Monitor branch profitability, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Approve transactions and oversee cash management, security, and operational controls.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and local businesses.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit business, operational, and performance reports to regional management.
• Identify business opportunities within the branch's service area and drive growth initiatives.
• Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.
• Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 5–10 years of banking experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
