Job Profile – Tally Prime Software Operator (Retail Thread Store)

Job Summary-:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Tally Prime Software Operator for our retail thread store. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, handling material inward and outward entries, monitoring inventory levels across godowns and branches, and ensuring proper stock management through physical verification and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Tally Prime, inventory management, warehouse coordination, and stock control processes.

• Key Roles & Responsibilities-:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate stock records in Tally Prime software.
• Ensure timely entry of material inward and outward transactions.
• Monitor stock movement for all godowns, warehouses, and branch locations.
• Maintain updated stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure proper batch-wise and item-wise stock management.

• 2. Material Inward & Outward Entries-:
• Record all purchase, transfer, and sales entries accurately in Tally Prime.
• Handle material transfer entries between branches and godowns.
• Verify supporting documents before making entries.
• Ensure no delay in updating stock transactions.

• 3. Physical Stock Verification-:
• Conduct regular physical stock checks to avoid discrepancies.
• Compare physical stock with software stock records.
• Report shortages, damages, or mismatches immediately to seniors.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff during stock audits.

• 4. Minimum Stock Level Monitoring-:
• Track minimum stock levels for all fast-moving and essential items.
• Prepare stock requirement reports for timely replenishment.
• Inform management in advance regarding low-stock items.
• Help in preparing purchase planning based on stock consumption.

• 5. Purchase Order Preparation-:
• Prepare purchase orders without delay as per stock requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management for approvals.
• Maintain proper purchase documentation and records.

• 6. Reporting & Coordination-:
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports to senior management.
• Maintain proper communication with warehouse staff and branch teams.
• Coordinate for systematic stock arrangement in the racking system.
• Ensure cleanliness and organized storage practices in warehouse areas.

• 7. Warehouse & Racking Management-:
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for proper material placement.
• Ensure systematic arrangement of products in racks for easy identification.
• Support FIFO (First In First Out) stock management practices.

• Required Skills & Qualifications-:
• Good knowledge of Tally Prime Software
• Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse management
• Good numerical and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple stock records efficiently
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of Advance level of MS Excel

• Preferred Experience-:
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory handling or Tally operations
• Experience in retail, textile, thread, or garment industry preferred

• Work Timing & BenefitsStore Timing-:
• 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 30 Minutes
• Weekly Off: Every Sunday
• Salary: ₹20,000 to 25000 per month depending on the experience
• Sunday Working: Extra salary/payment will be provided for working on Sundays.
• Overtime: Available as per work requirements and busy schedules.
• Attendance Bonus: One extra day salary will be provided for full monthly attendance.
