Role

The ideal candidate will oversee the timely vehicle preparation and execution of test activities at vehicle and component level, ensuring the validation of Product usages of vehicle, Homologation norms EU, SAE, accessories & Other International standards and Safety of our vehicles throughout their development lifecycle.

A purpose driven role for you

*Conducting hands-on testing activities, both in laboratory and field environments, to validate product usages performance, functionality under various operating conditions.
*Prepare the vehicles for tests ensuring functionality of all parts and systems as per specifications.
*Periodic measurements of different vehicle parts to monitor and estimate the service life.
*Investigating and troubleshooting issues encountered during testing, propose the solutions.
*Periodic inspection Calibration of test instruments.
*Instrumentation of test vehicles to record data from vehicle CAN and other sensors.
*Report preparation and maintain the database systematically for test data, results, reports, etc.
*Participate in the vehicle inspection activities and guide the technicians at shop floor.
*Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, preparing new fixtures for tests to enhance efficiency, accuracy and reliability of testing activities.

Academic Qualification & Experience

*Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering
*3+ years of experience in the same field

Technical Skills/Knowledge

*Proven Hands-on experience in two wheeler testing with knowledge of internal combustion engine, electric vehicles, powertrain system, brakes, electrical systems and other vehicle safety systems.
*Good knowledge of different vehicle attributes, validation methods and industry trends.
*Hands on experience in monitoring projects for durability testing and service life evaluation
*Hands on experience in using different measurement tools and service equipments.
*Better to have proficiency in vehicle data logging and experienced in relevant software tools for test data analysis.
*Knowledge of vehicle test standards and should be able to understand the guidelines in test standards.

Behavioural Skills

*Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
*Effective communication skills.
*Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
