Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)

* Handle day-to-day accounting entries – sales, purchase, receipts, payments

* Manage GST compliance – return filing, reconciliation, and documentation

* Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

* Handle accounts payable & receivable tracking and follow-ups

* Maintain inventory accounting and stock reconciliation (important in FMCG)

* Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with auditors

* Ensure compliance with taxation, TDS, and statutory regulations

* Support management with financial data for decision-making

Key Requirements

* Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG

* Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

* Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws

* Experience in inventory and distribution accounting

* Proficiency in MS Excel

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
