JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary function:

Responsible for overall supervision of entire Evaporator & dryer operation in the shifts by ensuring  

  Abbott Standards.

 • Primary purpose of role is to focus on execution and deliver the process BRFT, OEE, PSA & Yield targets.

Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position:

Major Responsibilities

• Review and update the logbooks & batch records in shift and ensure 100% document compliance.

•Timely submission of batch records with ensuring zero document errors.

•Support in raising ER & conducting CAPA.

•To ensure that all relevant quality records are completed, with sign off where required.

•To understand the critical control points identified through HACCP and ensure that they are in operation at all times.

•To assist in the review and update (where necessary) of all work instructions and procedures.

•Ensuring follow-up actions are taken and closed on time. The line Manager is promptly informed for any delays / issues in CAPA closure.

•To assume responsibility of improving efficiency, yield targets and quality of overall processing function.

•Drive the Business Excellence Program and Lean/Sigma continuous improvement initiatives in the department. (RCA, OSW etc.)

•Lead and manage specific projects as required.

•Timely reporting of Safety, Quality, Food Safety, People related incidents.

•Ensuring 5 S in manufacturing areas.

•To ensure Operator Standard Work in all operations.

•To analyze Root Cause and executing CAPA for all failures in respective area.

•To ensure batch records and other documents are maintained as per SOP.

•Periodic review of logbooks and ensure that the respective logbooks updated.

•Driving BRFT culture across the section and make people accountable.

Education

• ITI / Diploma with minimum 4 to 5 yrs experience.

• Being proficient in Gujarati is an added advantage.
