JOB DESCRIPTION - Marketing Manager
About the Role We are hiring a Marketing Manager who will act as the single point of contact between Solsataa (and Kangaroo Kids Kalyan) and all our external marketing partners. This person will not run ads themselves end-to-end; instead, they will manage our outsourced ad agency , our outsourced SEO partner (Vikas Pandey), and drive all in-house digital, offline, and CRM marketing activities — while owning lead tracking, reporting, cost efficiency, and marketing funnels. In short — this role is the bridge between the brand, the agencies, and the customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agency & Vendor Coordination • Act as the mediator between Solsataa and our ad agency (currently managed by Aditya). • Coordinate daily with the agency on Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads and content planning. • Ensure campaigns are live, budgets are loaded, and deliverables are met on time. • Coordinate with our outsourced SEO partner, Vikas Pandey, for Kangaroo Kids — reviewing SEO content, approving blogs/videos, and scheduling interviews/shoots.
2. Paid Ads Tracking & Reporting • Daily monitoring of all paid campaigns (Meta + Google) for both Solsataa and Kangaroo Kids. • Track and report key metrics: Cost Per Lead (CPL), Cost Per Acquisition (CPC/CAC), ROAS, CTR, spend pacing. • Check number of active ads, budget health, and alert the founder if ad balance is running low. Job Description – Marketing Manager • Maintain a weekly and monthly marketing performance report shared with the founder. • Track whether leads are flowing in consistently — and flag immediately if lead flow drops.
3. Lead Management & Funnel Reporting • Build and maintain a complete lead tracking system for Solsataa (location-wise) and Kangaroo Kids. • Report daily on: number of leads, source of leads, quality of leads, and conversion status. • Work with the telecaller and area managers to close the loop on leads. • Build and own marketing funnels — examples: ◦ Pull list of customers who did Root Touch-Up in the last 3 months from Zenoti and send a re-engagement campaign ("Ma'am, it's been 3 months — time for a root touch-up?"). ◦ Similar win-back funnels for Botox, Keratin, Facials, Hair Spa, Memberships, etc.
4. WhatsApp & CRM Marketing (DoubleTick) • Plan and execute WhatsApp campaigns to customers using DoubleTick (our WhatsApp Business API tool). • Segment customer data from Zenoti (by service, last visit, location) and send targeted messages. • Create service-specific message templates (for offers, birthdays, membership renewals, re-engagement). • Track open rates, replies, and conversions from every WhatsApp campaign.
5. Google My Business (GMB) Management • Own and manage GMB profiles for all Solsataa locations and Kangaroo Kids Kalyan. • Keep addresses, working hours, phone numbers, photos and services updated at all times. • Post weekly updates, offers and promotions on GMB — branch-wise. • Monitor and respond to Google reviews in coordination with area managers.
6. Offline & Field Marketing • Manage all printables — banners, flyers, tent cards, standees, posters. • Ensure outdoor banners at all Solsataa stores are replaced on time with updated creatives and offers. • Coordinate with local vendors for printing, installation and replacement. • Plan and execute field / BTL marketing activities around store locations (pamphlet drops, society activations, local tie-ups).
7. Kangaroo Kids Preschool Marketing • End-to-end marketing ownership for Kangaroo Kids Kalyan — digital + offline + SEO. • Run and monitor paid ads (Meta + Google) for admissions. • Coordinate with Vikas Pandey for SEO, blogs, and website content. • Track admission leads, follow up with parents, and report conversion daily.
8. Reporting & Communication • Daily brief to founder: ads running, spend, leads, conversions. Job Description – Marketing Manager • Weekly marketing review deck — campaigns, results, learnings, next week's plan. • Monthly marketing MIS — spend vs. leads vs. conversions vs. revenue, ROAS per channel.
Must Have Skills
• Digital ads knowledge: must understand how Meta Ads & Google Ads work (even if an agency runs them) — enough to review, question, and optimize.
• Analytical mindset: comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets, able to build reports and read numbers (CPL, ROAS, CAC).
• CRM / WhatsApp tools: prior exposure to DoubleTick, WATI, Interakt or similar WhatsApp API tools is a plus.
• Zenoti or salon CRM exposure: preferred (not mandatory) — will be trained.
• Communication: fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi preferred; must coordinate with vendors, agency, staff and customers.
• Ownership attitude: someone who is always on their toes — tracks leads, chases numbers, fixes gaps proactively.
• Vendor management: ability to manage agencies, printers, freelancers and keep them accountable.
Good to Have
• Prior experience in salon / wellness / beauty / preschool / retail marketing.
• Basic design sense — can brief designers and review creatives for banners, posts and tent cards.
• Working knowledge of Google My Business, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads Manager.
• Local candidate — resident of Kalyan, Ambernath, Badlapur or Ulhasnagar strongly preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Number of qualified leads per month — Solsataa (location-wise) and Kangaroo Kids.
• Cost Per Lead (CPL) and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) — tracked and reduced month-on-month.
• ROAS on paid campaigns.
• Conversion rate of WhatsApp / re-engagement funnels (e.g. root touch-up win-back).
• 100% uptime on GMB updates, in-store banners, and printed collateral.
• Agency & vendor deliverables tracked and closed on time.
Compensation & Location
• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and interview).
• Location: Solsataa Head Office. Candidates from Kalyan / Ambernath / Badlapur / Ulhasnagar preferred for commute and long-term fit.
• Reporting: Directly to the Director.
