Job Description
Job Title: Sales & Marketing (Marine Field & Offshore)
Location: Mumbai, India (Andheri West)
Job time : 10AM TO 6PM
About the Role:-
We are seeking a high-energy, technically-minded Sales & Marketing Manager to drive our business footprint in the maritime and shipbuilding industry. Based in Mumbai, you will sit at the center of the purchase and sales lifecycle, managing high-value contracts and building strategic alliances with the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, major shipyards, and Oil & Gas giants.
This is not a desk job. It is a role for a closer who is equally comfortable in a boardroom as they are on a shipyard floor or an offshore vessel.
Key Responsibilities :-
End-to-End Sales Management: Execute the full sales process from strategic planning and lead generation to final contract closure.
Strategic Marketing: Develop market-entry strategies for marine equipment, analyzing industry trends and competitor movement to identify growth opportunities.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with ship owners, marine consultants, and government entities (Indian Navy, Ports, etc.).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and logistics teams to ensure equipment specifications meet client needs and regulatory standards.
Commercial Oversight: Manage procurement and sales negotiations, ensuring profitability while meeting strict project deadlines.
Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Marine Equipment for the offshore and shipbuilding sectors is advantage.
Commercial Acumen: Strong knowledge of sales contracts, forecasting, and the legalities of maritime commerce.
The "Hustle" Factor: Willingness to travel extensively and visit shipyards, engineering firms, and offshore sites.
Negotiation Prowess: Ability to influence stakeholders and remain calm under the high-pressure environment of vessel maintenance and construction timelines.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills are mandatory for drafting technical proposals and communicating with global vendors.
Required Skill Set:-
Expertise in Selling to Customer Needs (Consultative Selling).
Deep understanding of Sales Forecasting and market analysis.
Strong Problem-Solving abilities—finding solutions when logistics or technical specs get complex.
Proficiency in computer systems and CRM tools
