Job PurposeTo lead and manage complete factory operations including production, quality, maintenance, manpower, safety, and statutory compliance, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day factory operations to meet production and delivery targets
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Implement productivity improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, TPM)
- Monitor and control quality standards, rejections, and customer complaints
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, EHS, statutory, and legal requirements
- Control manufacturing costs and monitor budgets
- Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, and HR departments
- Prepare MIS reports and present performance reviews to management
- Candidate ProfileEducational QualificationBE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- MBA / PGDM (Operations) – Preferred
- ExperienceMinimum 15+ years in mechanical manufacturing industry
- Minimum 5–7 years in senior plant/factory management role
- Technical SkillsProduction planning & control
- CNC & conventional machining / fabrication / assembly processes
- Quality systems (ISO / IATF preferred)
- Preventive maintenance & TPM
