Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC machines for machining parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments
- Perform basic programming edits (G-code knowledge preferred)
- Inspect finished products using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Ensure quality standards and tolerances are maintained
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Experience with VMC/CNC machines (preferred: 1–3 years or as required)
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with tooling selection and fixture setup
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Experience in precision machining or manufacturing industry
