Job Description
HR Manager / Human Resources Executive – Resort Operations
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee all human resource functions for our resort operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a strong workforce, recruiting quality talent, managing employee onboarding, maintaining company culture, ensuring staff discipline, tracking employee performance, and creating an efficient work environment aligned with our hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees across all resort departments
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and SOPs to ensure smooth workforce management
- Maintain employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws
- Foster a positive company culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, discipline, and employee satisfaction
- Monitor employee performance through regular evaluations, reporting systems, and KPI tracking
- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions professionally
- Organize staff training, development programs, and orientation sessions to improve service quality
- Build retention strategies to reduce turnover and maintain workforce stability
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure proper staffing levels and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and hospitality HR standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably in hospitality, resort, hotel, or service industries
- Strong recruitment, employee management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and HR compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage large teams and maintain structured reporting systems
- Proficiency in HR software, Google Workspace, and reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Preferred Qualities:
- Hospitality industry experience
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to build systems and improve organizational culture
- High professionalism and operational discipline
