Field Collection Executive – Job DescriptionRole Overview:

A Field Collection Executive is responsible for recovering outstanding payments from customers by visiting them in person, maintaining professional communication, and ensuring timely collections while following company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit customers/clients to collect overdue payments.
• Negotiate repayment plans and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and customer interactions.
• Follow up regularly with customers for pending dues.
• Handle cash/cheque collections and deposit them as per company procedure.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards during collections.
• Report daily/weekly progress to the reporting manager.
• Update collection status in CRM or tracking systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of finance and collections processes.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
• Good time management and route planning skills.
• Basic computer/mobile app handling skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: High school diploma or graduate (varies by company).
• Prior experience in collections, sales, or fieldwork preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel locally.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (often required).
• Familiarity with local areas.
