Job Description – Accounts ManagerPosition: Accounts Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: The Rajbari Bawali Head Office
About The Rajbari BawaliThe Rajbari Bawali is a 300-year-old restored heritage property offering luxury hospitality experiences, heritage tourism, events, and destination weddings. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingMaintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure timely closure of accounts.
- Accounts Payable & ReceivableManage vendor payments and customer receivables.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
- Taxation & ComplianceEnsure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
- Payroll & Employee ReimbursementsOversee payroll processing in coordination with HR.
- Verify salary sheets, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee financial records.
- Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor departmental expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
- Audit & Internal ControlsCoordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention.
- Team ManagementLead and supervise the accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in hospitality, hotels, or luxury properties.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
