Accountant

1. Day-to-Day Accounting

Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions

Pass journal entries, sales, purchase, and expense entries

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping

2. Accounts Payable & Recievable

Manage vendor payments and follow-ups

Generate invoices and track receivables

Reconcile customer and vendor accounts

3. Bank & Cash Management

Perform bank reconciliations (BRS)

Maintain cash book and monitor daily cash flow

Handle banking transactions (RTGS, NEFT, cheque processing)

4. Taxation & Compliances

Handle GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

Deduct and manage TDS and ensure timely return filing

Maintain statutory compliance records

5. Income Tax Return (ITR) Support

Prepare and assist in filing ITRs for individuals, firms, and companies

Compile financial data required for ITR filing

Calculate taxable income, deductions, and tax liability

Coordinate with clients/management for required documents

Assist in responding to Income Tax notices (if any)

Maintain proper documentation for assessments and filings

6. Financial Reporting

Assist in preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)

Generate MIS reports for management

Support in monthly and yearly closing

7. Audit Support

Prepare schedules and documents for auditors

Assist during statutory and internal audits

8. Software & Systems

Work on Tally / ERP systems

Use MS Excel for reconciliation and reporting

Maintain accuracy and data integrity in systems

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of accounting and basic taxation

Working knowledge of ITR filing and income tax provisions

GST & TDS understanding

MS Excel proficiency

Attention to detail and accuracy
