Job Description
🟢 Guest & Greeting
Welcome guests warmly as they arrive
Greet with a smile and maintain a professional attitude
Ask about reservations or walk-in requirements
🟢 Seating Management
Escort guests to their tables
Manage waiting lists during busy hours
Ensure proper table rotation for servers
Provide menus and inform guests about specials
🟢 Reservation Handling
Take and manage reservations (phone/online)
Confirm bookings and manage cancellations
Organize seating plans in advance
🟢 Customer Service
Answer guest queries politely
Handle complaints or delays professionally
Coordinate with servers and managers for smooth service
🟢 Communication & Coordination
Work closely with waiters, kitchen staff, and managers
Inform staff about VIP guests or special requests
Keep track of table availability in real-time
🟢 Front Desk Maintenance
Keep the entrance area clean and presentable
Ensure menus, waiting area, and décor are organized
🟡 Additional Skills Required
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Pleasant personality and grooming
Basic computer/booking system knowledge
Ability to handle pressure during peak hours
