Location: 28 Buffet Avenue, near City Centre 2, Newtown, Kolkata - 700161

Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM (6 days a week)

28 Buffet Avenue is a dynamic multi-cuisine buffet restaurant known for its rotating menu concept. We focus on guest experience, high energy service, and strong communication at the front desk. We are looking for a confident and smart Hostess who can manage guests and drive bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend guests professionally at the entrance
• Understand guest needs and suggest suitable dining options
• Handle walk-ins, reservations, and phone inquiries
• Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
• Maintain guest data and follow up for repeat visits
• Coordinate with floor staff to ensure smooth seating
• Handle peak-hour pressure calmly
• Promote ongoing offers and weekday corporate discounts
• Ensure front desk area is clean and well-organized

Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills (Bengali & English mandatory)
• Strong sales and persuasion skills
• Confident personality with presentable appearance
• Good listener who understands guest preferences
• Quick learner who can adapt to menu changes and instructions
• Basic knowledge of handling calls and WhatsApp booking
• Ability to handle objections and close bookings
• Positive attitude and professional behavior

Preferred

• Experience in hospitality, front office, or sales role
• Experience in restaurant booking handling
• Familiarity with POS systems or reservation tools
