Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to aligning platform components with organizational data strategies, fostering effective communication among teams, and supporting the overall architecture to meet evolving business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business objectives.
- Assist in identifying potential improvements and optimizations within the data platform architecture.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on platform-related tasks.
- Maintain clear and effective documentation of design decisions and integration processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Graph Databases.
- Experience with data modeling and schema design specific to graph database technologies.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with query languages used in graph databases such as Cypher or Gremlin.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize graph database performance.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and their application within data platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Graph Databases.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
