Job Description
A Telecaller is responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls to communicate with potential or existing customers on behalf of a company. The role involves promoting products or services, generating leads, answering customer queries, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include making calls to prospective clients, explaining offerings clearly, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records of conversations. Telecallers are also expected to handle customer concerns professionally, provide relevant information, and guide customers toward making informed decisions.
To succeed in this role, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A good Telecaller should be persuasive, patient, and attentive, with the ability to handle rejection and work toward targets. Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with customer databases or CRM systems are often required.
