Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Vendor Management.Cost estimation, Negotiation, and Price settlement of Component Forging, Gears and Machining.Capable to identify the GAP in capacities and production upgradation at supplier end.Review and monitor Development of tooling, Fixture, Gauges to ensure APQP time plan met.Co-ordination with supplier quality team to ensure timely and flawless development.Manufacturing process knowledge of Casting/Forging/Gear and machined components.New process Development process- APQP and PPAP.Commodity price trend as well and market study for benchmarking.Quality Improvement.Ability to Lead CFT for improvement at supplier end.Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.Value Engineering / Cost Reductions.Ability to generate new ideas of bringing doen Material cost either by selection of material or by optimisation of design / process cost

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end to end supply chain for engine parts by scheduling
• Able to handle casting, forging and proprietary commodity.
• Monitor inventory and safety stock levels to prevent shortages and excess.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Drive supplier capacity enhancement and footprint upgradation initiatives.
• Align supply plans with production schedules for uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Track material availability, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Generate planning and inventory reports through ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify supply risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement in supply chain planning.
• Manage governance audits and ensure compliance.
• Perform supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
