Advocate

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advocate with hands-on exposure to litigation before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, and NCLT. The candidate should possess strong drafting skills, sound knowledge of procedural laws, and the ability to independently handle matters and coordinate with clients and counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, and National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
• Draft and review petitions, applications, affidavits, replies, rejoinders, written submissions, notices, and other pleadings.
• Appear before courts and tribunals and effectively represent clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case notes and opinions.
• Coordinate with clients, advocates-on-record, senior counsel, court clerks, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage litigation strategy and ensure timely filing and compliance with procedural requirements.
• Handle matters relating to commercial disputes, banking and finance, insolvency, company law, arbitration, and civil litigation.
• Attend conferences with clients and provide updates on ongoing matters.
• Maintain case records and monitor cause lists and court proceedings.

Eligibility Criteria:

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
• Prior experience appearing before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, and NCLT is essential.
• Strong drafting and research skills.
• Familiarity with CPC, Arbitration Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Companies Act, and other commercial laws.
• Ability to independently manage matters and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to DRT, NCLAT, Commercial Courts, and arbitration proceedings.
• Experience in banking and financial services litigation, insolvency matters, and corporate disputes.
