Bakery Chef

We're seeking a skilled Commi Chef to join our team at That Sushi Place & KesuKesu, a cloud kitchen serving Self kneaded dough fresh pizzas, gourmet burgers, loaded tacos, and crowd-favourite starters. As a Commi Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes across our pizza, burger, and taco stations, maintaining food safety and hygiene, and helping us deliver consistently great food to customers across Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook pizzas, burgers, tacos, and starters according to KesuKesu's recipes and quality standards
2. Prepare daily mise en place dough, sauces, marinations, chopped vegetables, shredded cheese, prepped proteins, salsas
3. Operate the pizza oven, grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
4. Assist the Head Chef / CDP in food preparation, plating, and packaging for delivery
5. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in the kitchen at all times
6. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for ingredient storage and reduce wastage
7. Ensure orders are prepared on time during peak hours without compromising quality
8. Keep your station equipment, surfaces, knives, utensils clean and organized throughout the shift
9. Collaborate with the team to consistently deliver excellent food

Requirements

1. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a cloud kitchen, QSR, casual dining restaurant, or hotel kitchen
2. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following — pizza making (dough handling, oven operation), burger assembly and grilling, or taco/Mexican cuisine
3. Knowledge of Italian / American / Mexican cuisine basics is preferred
4. Strong knife skills and ability to follow standardized recipes
5. Good attention to detail and quality consistency
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven cloud kitchen environment
7. Hotel Management diploma / IHM / NCHMCT graduate is a plus, not mandatory
8. Good communication and teamwork skills
