Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive institutional business growth by building strong relationships with Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Clients. The role focuses on empanelment, client acquisition, and revenue generation for legal, valuation, and consultancy services across the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach Banks, NBFCs, and Financial Institutions for empanelment opportunities
- Manage end-to-end empanelment process (documentation, coordination, follow-ups)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank officials and corporate decision-makers
- Generate business for legal, valuation, structural audit, and consultancy services
- Achieve sales targets and convert empanelments into recurring business
- Maintain pipeline reports, lead tracking, and MIS updates
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
- Travel for client meetings across Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Raigad
- Required SkillsMUST: Experience in Banking / NBFC Sales & Marketing
- Strong expertise in institutional sales and corporate liaisoning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and follow-up abilities
- Target-driven mindset with focus on revenue generation
- Experience in lead generation and conversion
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to manage reports, pipeline tracking, and MIS
- Good to Have SkillsExperience in legal services / valuation services sales
- Exposure to structural audit / engineering consultancy
- Knowledge of banking empanelment processes
- Experience in real estate sector or related industries
- Familiarity with Mumbai / Navi Mumbai market
- Experience with CRM tools and corporate networking
- Qualification & EducationQualification: Graduate / Postgraduate (Marketing / Commerce / Business Administration or related field)
- Experience: 3+ Years (Banking / NBFC sales mandatory)
- Work Mode: Hybrid (Field + Office)
- Work Week: Monday – Saturday
- Location: Kamothe, Panvel (Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Raigad)
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days preferred
