Computer Hardware Engineer

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
• Installation and support of operating systems (Windows 10/11).
• Support users for email, printers, scanners, and office applications.
• Basic troubleshooting of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Manage hardware inventory and asset records.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty and repair services.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support.
• Ensure timely closure of support tickets as per SLA.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
• Experience with hardware upgrades and component replacement.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
• Basic knowledge of antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Educational QualificationDiploma/Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as A+, N+, CCNA (preferred).
• Preferred ExperienceExperience in AMC support, field service, or IT infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of Dell, HP, Lenovo, and other enterprise hardware products.

Experience in laptop, desktop, server, rental machine support, and onsite customer handling will be preferred. Candidate should be willing to travel for customer support and AMC visits.
