Continental Cook

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Continental Cook to prepare high-quality continental cuisine while maintaining hygiene, taste, and presentation standards. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen operations, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction through quality food service.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, including soups, salads, sauces, grills, pasta, sandwiches, and breakfast items.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
• Handle mise en place and food preparation for daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate for ingredient procurement.
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and minimize wastage.
• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth food operations during peak hours.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Requirements:Proven experience as a Continental Cook / Commis Chef / CDP (Continental).
• Good knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Relevant culinary certification is preferred.
