Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and organized Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute successful events. The ideal candidate will manage every stage of the event process, from planning and budgeting to vendor coordination and on-site execution, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage corporate, promotional, and social events.
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and objectives.
Prepare event budgets, schedules, and timelines.
Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
Manage event logistics, including venue setup, transportation, catering, and equipment.
Supervise event staff and ensure smooth event execution.
Monitor event progress and resolve any issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare post-event reports, feedback, and budget reconciliation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in event planning or event management.
Freshers with strong organizational and communication skills may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, or promotional activities.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
Knowledge of budgeting and event coordination software is an added advantage.
