Job Description

Job Summary

The Field Work Executive is responsible for on-ground verification of cement deliveries, ensuring accurate brand-wise and quantity-wise receipt, and collecting all required documents with authorized stamp and signature. The role plays a critical part in maintaining billing accuracy, load tracking, and timely payment cycles.



Key Responsibilities

1. Material Receipt & Brand Verification

  • Visit dealer/customer sites to confirm receipt of cement loads.
  • Ensure material condition is intact (no damage, leakage, or shortages).
  • Immediately report discrepancies in brand, quantity, or condition.

 



2. Document Collection & Compliance

  • Collect and verify the following documents:
  • Delivery Challan (DC)
  • Tax Invoice
  • E-way Bill
  • Proof of Delivery (POD) / Acknowledgement Copy
  • Ensure all documents reflect:
  • Correct brand, quantity, and load type
  • Accurate delivery date and location



3. Stamp & Signature Authorization

  • Obtain dealer/customer stamp and authorized signature on:
  • Delivery Challan
  • Invoice / POD copy
  • Ensure:
  • Signature is from authorized person (owner/store in-charge)
  • Stamp is clear and legible



4. Billing Cycle Support

  • Ensure all documents are collected on the same day or within defined TAT.
  • Submit documents to accounts team for billing processing.
  • Support weekly/monthly billing cycles by:
  • Clearing pending PODs
  • Following up with dealers for missing documents
  • Help reduce billing delays due to incomplete documentation.

 



5. Coordination & Issue Resolution

  • Coordinate with:
  • Transporters for delivery confirmation
  • Dealers for document collection
  • Internal sales/accounts teams for issue resolution
  • Escalate delays, disputes, or shortages immediately.



Key Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of cement brands, grades, and packaging
  • Understanding of logistics operations (FTL/PTL loads)
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation
  • Good communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines



Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass (Graduate preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in cement, construction materials, or logistics field operations



Other Requirements

  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory)
  • Willingness for daily field travel and dealer visits
