Job Description
A Field Sales Representative (or Outside Sales Rep) drives revenue by meeting face-to-face with prospective and existing clients within a designated territory. They are responsible for generating leads, delivering product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and nurturing long-term relationships to meet or exceed sales targets. Workable +3
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Developing and implementing plans to cover a specific geographic area effectively.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Cold calling, visiting potential clients, and managing existing accounts to build loyalty.
- Product Representation: Delivering tailored presentations and demonstrations to showcase value to clients.
- Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing the deal.
- Reporting: Submitting daily/weekly reports on sales activities, forecasts, and competitor activity using CRM tools.
- Relationship Building: Establishing trust with clients through regular in-person visits.
