Job Overview -

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on expertise in conceptualizing, planning, and executing high-end interior spaces (Residential / Commercial / Hospitality, Institutional ). The ideal candidate will manage interior projects end-to-end, leading design conceptualization, space planning, material selection, client presentation, and site execution while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and junior team members.

• Key Responsibilities -
• Design Concept & Space Planning:
• 
  
• Develop comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, spatial layouts, 2D technical drawings, and 3D renderings tailored to client preferences and budget constraints.
• 
  
• Produce detailed architectural/interior working drawings (layouts, elevations, joinery details, electrical/plumbing plans, false ceiling drawings).
• 
  
• Project Management & Site Execution:
• 
  
• Oversee full execution cycles from design approval to handover, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• 
  
• Conduct regular site visits to supervise contractors, carpenters, and vendors, resolving technical and structural execution challenges on-site.
• 
  
• Material Selection & Procurement:
• 
  
• Source and specify high-quality materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, fabrics, fixtures, and hardware (FF&E).
• 
  
• Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier networks to secure competitive pricing and quality craftsmanship.
• 
  
• Client & Stakeholder Management:
• 
  
• Lead client presentations, pitched concepts, and progress reviews, ensuring high client satisfaction and effective communication.
• 
  
• Coordinate closely with MEP engineers, structural consultants, contractors, and internal design teams.
• 
  
• Budgeting & Cost Estimation:
• 
  
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, material specifications, and project timelines.
• 
  
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 
  
• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of proven experience working on residential, commercial, or hospitality design projects.
• 
  
• Technical Software Proficiency:
• 
  
• 2D Drafting: AutoCAD (Expert)
• 
  
• 3D Modeling & Rendering: SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, or Blender
• 
  
• Visual Presentation: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, MS PowerPoint
• 
  
• Project Tools: MS Excel / Project for BOQ and scheduling
• 
  
• Core Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of interior construction methodology, carpentry, joinery, finishes, and building codes.

• Strong aesthetic judgment with meticulous attention to detail and color theory.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams, junior designers, and external vendors under tight deadlines.

• Excellent verbal presentation and interpersonal negotiation skills.
