Job Description
- Execute basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff (Commis 1/2, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) — washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and basic cooking prep
- Maintain your section's mise en place to spec, every service
- Follow recipes, plating guides, and SOPs exactly as trained no freelancing until you've earned it
- Keep your station, tools, and equipment clean and organized throughout service (kitchen hygiene is non-negotiable)
- Support senior chefs during service fetching, prepping, plating support, breakdown
- Learn and follow FSSAI food safety standards and kitchen SOPs
- Participate in daily briefings, tastings, and training sessions
- Handle receiving and storage of ingredients correctly (FIFO, labeling, temperature checks)
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties
