Job Summary
Bimakart is looking for an MIS Executive with strong knowledge in insurance domain, reconciliation, and insurance operations. The role will support reporting, commission tracking and entry and partner payout processing across insurance products and business channels. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with Excel, large data sets and able to coordinate with internal teams and external insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for Bimakart’s insurance business.
- Update and validate payout grids, commission structures logic.
- Track policy issuance, renewals, cancellations, premium collections, and payout reconciliations.
- Coordinate with insurers, sales teams, operations, and finance for discrepancy resolution.
- Entry and verify payout eligibility as per approved grid structures and company rules.
- Maintain accurate records of business data and ensure report accuracy.
- Generate summaries, and management reports for review.
- Support data analysis for business performance, payout efficiency, and reconciliation trends.
- Identify mismatches, missing entries, and settlement gaps.
- Assist in improving reporting processes and standardizing MIS workflows.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of insurance operations and payout processes.
- Hands-on experience with payout grid, commission grid, and reconciliation.
- Strong MIS reporting skills using Advanced Excel, formulas and pivot tables.
- Ability to work with large data sets accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of insurance systems, policy records and terms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an insurance broker, insurance agency, or insurtech environment.
- Knowledge of commission management and payout administration.
- Exposure to reporting tools, dashboards or automation tools.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline, preferably Commerce, Management, IT, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in MIS, operations, reconciliation, or insurance preferred.
- Prior exposure to payout or commission processing in insurance will be an advantage.
