Retail Sales Associate

Position ObjectiveThe Retail / E-Commerce & Inventory Handler shall be responsible for managing day-to-day retail operations, online order fulfillment, inventory control, stock movement, and ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, retail stores, and e-commerce channels to support efficient business operations.

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesA. Retail Operations Management• Handle daily retail operational activities and support store requirements

• Coordinate with retail outlets, kiosks, and sales teams regarding stock availability

• Monitor stock movement across stores and warehouse locations

• Assist in product replenishment and stock planning

• Maintain product display and inventory readiness for retail requirements

• Coordinate with operations team for urgent stock movement requirements

B. E-Commerce Operations• Manage orders received from Hashtag website and online marketplaces

• Process and monitor customer orders from order receipt to dispatch

• Coordinate with delivery partners (including Porter and logistics vendors)

• Ensure timely packaging, dispatch, and delivery tracking

• Handle order status updates and customer fulfillment issues

• Monitor online inventory availability and stock synchronization

• Coordinate with customer support regarding order concerns and fulfillment matters

C. Inventory Management• Maintain accurate inventory records for all SKUs

• Monitor inward and outward stock movement

• Maintain batch-wise inventory and stock tracking

• Conduct physical inventory checks and stock audits regularly

• Update inventory systems on a daily basis

• Monitor inventory discrepancies and report shortages immediately

• Track slow-moving, fast-moving, and near-expiry inventory

• Ensure proper stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO where applicable)

• Coordinate with procurement team for stock replenishment planning

D. Warehouse & Dispatch Coordination• Coordinate incoming stock receipt and quality verification

• Maintain dispatch records and documentation

• Ensure packaging materials are adequately available

• Verify dispatch quantities before shipment release

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding stock transfers and dispatch planning

E. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare and submit:

• Daily stock movement reports

• Inventory status reports

• Retail stock reports

• E-commerce order reports

• Weekly inventory reconciliation reports

• Monthly stock summary reports

• Product shortage and discrepancy reports

F. Systems & Process Compliance• Maintain SKU codes and inventory records accurately

• Ensure all operational processes comply with company SOPs

• Support implementation of inventory software and ERP systems

• Maintain confidentiality of sales, inventory, and operational data
