Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, local payments, petty cash, banking activities, and ensuring accurate financial records and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Process and clear local vendor and supplier payments on time.

Maintain and reconcile the petty cash register.

Prepare payment vouchers and maintain supporting documents.

Handle bank-related work, including cheque deposits, NEFT/RTGS transactions, bank reconciliations, and coordination with banks/ Team if any.

Maintain daily cash flow and payment records.

Verify invoices, purchase bills, and expense claims.

Maintain proper filing of financial and statutory documents.

Coordinate with internal departments for payment approvals and document collection.

Support monthly account closing and audit requirements.

Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

Experience in bank reconciliation and payment processing.

Knowledge of import documentation will be an added advantage.

Good organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.

Experience: 2–5 years in Accounts & Finance

Experience in manufacturing companies will be preferred
