Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with financial record keeping, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process and verify invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as required.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
