Area Sales Manager-CREDIT CARD-Retail Sales

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase credit card acquisitions and market share. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective sales performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's credit card business and drive its growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing mentorship and performance guidance.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve credit card acquisition targets.

  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales campaigns and materials.
  • Train and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Build a strong network of partnerships with retailers and businesses to enhance sales opportunities.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in credit card sales or a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to sales.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM systems for effective sales management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving sales growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed.
