Project Role : Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.
Must have skills : Dynatrace APM
Good to have skills : Datadog, Splunk
Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will diagnose complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, validate application performance, and ensure optimal capacity planning. You will also focus on problem detection and resolution, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the software development lifecycle and architecture. Your role will require a proactive approach to identify potential performance bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance application performance management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor application performance metrics and provide actionable insights.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Dynatrace APM.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Splunk, Datadog.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and metrics.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues effectively.
