Job Title: Project Manager – Furniture & Interior Projects

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Department: Projects / Operations

Reports To: Operations Head / Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering furniture and interior fit-out projects at construction sites. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, designers, and on-site teams to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage end-to-end execution of furniture and interior projects at construction sites

* Coordinate with designers, architects, contractors, and clients for smooth project flow

* Plan project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation

* Supervise installation of furniture, fixtures, and fittings on-site

* Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications

* Monitor project progress and resolve on-site issues promptly

* Manage vendors, suppliers, and procurement activities

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations

* Track project costs and maintain budget control

* Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

* Handle client communication and ensure satisfaction

Required Skills & Competencies:

* Strong project management and organizational skills

* Knowledge of furniture manufacturing and installation processes

* Ability to read and interpret design drawings and layouts

* Excellent communication and coordination skills

* Familiarity with site safety practices

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture / Project Management or related field

* Certification in Project Management (preferred)

Experience:

* 3–7 years of experience in project management within furniture, interior, or construction industry

* Experience in handling on-site execution and vendor coordination

Tools & Software:

* MS Excel, MS Project or similar tools

* AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred)

* ERP/Project tracking tools

Working Conditions:

* Frequent travel to construction sites

* May require extended working hours to meet deadlines
