Role Overview :- We are seeking a senior business development professional to lead and accelerate the growth of our Fund Services platform in India. The role will focus on originating and closing complex mandates across domestic AIFs, GIFT City structures, and offshore fund vehicles. This position requires strong market credibility, deep ecosystem connectivity, and the ability to engage senior fund sponsors and institutional stakeholders across the full lifecycle of fund structuring and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new business origination across:
Domestic AIFs
Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds
Private Credit & Real Estate Funds
Hedge Funds and Alternative Asset Managers
Global Asset Managers establishing India or GIFT City structures
- Develop and execute India sales strategy aligned to regional and global growth objectives
- Own strategic client relationships with Fund Sponsors, Managing Partners, CIOs, CFOs, and COOs
- Build and leverage strong partnerships with Law Firms, Tax Advisors, Audit Firms, Trustees, Custodians, and Investment Banks to drive referral-based opportunities
- Structure multi-jurisdiction solutions in collaboration with product, operations, compliance, and global coverage teams
- Lead complex RFP processes, commercial structuring, and long-term contractual negotiations
- Monitor regulatory, tax, and structural developments under SEBI and IFSCA frameworks to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and revenue accountability
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of institutional financial services business development experience
- Strong track record in closing large, multi-service fund administration or related mandates
- Deep and active network within India’s PE/VC, AIF, Asset Management, legal, tax, and advisory ecosystem
- Experience working within global fund administration, trustee, custodial, or related institutional platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and multi-jurisdiction fund structures
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgment and negotiation capability
