VMT-Team Member-OPS-Vendor Governance
The VMT-Team Member will play a crucial role in the OPS-Vendor Governance department, working closely with various teams and vendors. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage and oversee vendor relationships, ensuring the bank's standards and policies are met. The successful candidate will contribute to the bank's strategic goals by maintaining a robust and compliant vendor management framework.- Assist in the development and implementation of vendor management policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and assessments, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including data security and privacy concerns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment with vendor governance strategies.
- Monitor and analyze vendor contracts, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vendor management activities.
- Support the vendor onboarding process, ensuring all necessary due diligence and compliance checks are completed.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of services or products.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on vendor performance and governance to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in vendor management and governance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vendor management or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management principles and practices, including contract management and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
