Senior Manager - Quality

Responsibilities

Supplier quality management for the Raw materials, Rotor blades and Moulds
ISO9001:2015 QMS AMR for the blade plant
Technical support to the blade plant team

Review and evaluate supplier audit repots, recommend the scope of improvement and qualify for the supply of raw materials for rotor blade manufacturing

Review and finalize the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for the new suppliers/materials

Review the material specifications, drawings, technical data sheets, test reports, certificate of analysis, acceptance criteria, packaging etc.

Technical support for testing and trials of new materials

Review the incoming material quality, non-conformity register and ensure the corrective actions from the supplier to control cost of poor quality (COPQ)

Review the feedback of blade plant stakeholders on materials/suppliers and ensure the continual improvement at supplier end

Ensure design specification change implementation

Supplier visit for inspection of the materials, in-process and final inspection of Blades and Moulds and provide the final clearance for the dispatch

Support plant team during new mould Installation and SAT

Review the internal/external audit reports and take actions to close the NC/OFI

Review the IMS documents like Department manuals, Risk and Opportunity registers, Objective trackers, Skill matrix, SOPs, Formats and maintain the records for the blade plant

Qualifications

Bachelor / Master Of Engineering

BS / MSC in Polymer / Chemistry

Should have 12+ years of experience

Experience in wind turbine blades is preferrable
