Job Summary

The Design Engineer (CAD) is responsible for creating accurate and efficient machine designs using SolidWorks. creo This role plays a key part in converting concepts into practical designs that can be manufactured and assembled smoothly. The position supports the production team by ensuring designs are clear, precise, and aligned with project requirements.

• Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks,creo
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions and specifications
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure design feasibility
• Modify designs based on feedback from internal teams or clients
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy before release
• Maintain proper documentation of all design files
• Support in developing new product designs and improvements
• Ensure designs meet quality and safety standards
• Work closely with project and production teams for smooth execution
• Handle design revisions and updates as required
• Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during production
• Follow company design processes and standards
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely completion of design tasks
• Accuracy and quality of drawings
• Number of design errors or revisions required
• Coordination with production team
• Adherence to project timelines
• Proper documentation and file management
• Ability to meet client or project requirements
• Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience can apply
• Experience with SolidWorks,creo is mandatory
• Skills & Abilities Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong time management skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good technical understanding of mechanical designs
