Focus: Strictly Manufacturing & Industrial Relations

👩💼 Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional with a core background in Industrial Relations (IR) and Manufacturing Operations. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle within the plant, ensuring seamless labor management, statutory compliance, and a disciplined work culture.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
⚖️ Industrial Relations & Compliance
- Labor Laws: Ensure 100% compliance with the Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, Payment of Wages, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaison: Represent the company before Government Authorities (Labor Office, DISH, PF/ESIC offices).
- Discipline: Manage domestic inquiries, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions as per standing orders.
- Contractor Management: Oversee contract labor rolls, ensuring timely payments and compliance by vendors.
🏗️ Plant HR Operations
- Manpower Planning: Manage the shop-floor headcount, including skilled/unskilled labor and technical staff.
- Attendance & Payroll: Supervise shift-wise attendance, overtime (OT) calculations, and payroll coordination for plant staff.
- Safety & Welfare: Collaborate with the Safety Officer to ensure EHS standards and oversee canteen/transportation facilities.
🤝 Talent & Engagement
- Technical Recruitment: Source and onboard ITI/Diploma holders, engineers, and production supervisors.
- Skill Mapping: Identify training gaps on the shop floor and organize multi-skilling programs.
- Culture: Maintain a proactive "Open Door" policy to minimize labor unrest and boost morale.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR plus a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Diploma in Labour Laws (DLL/LW) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years in a manufacturing plant environment. Candidates from the pharma, medical device, or engineering sectors will have an edge.
- Core Skills: * Deep understanding of Maharashtra State Labor Laws.
- Proficiency in HRMS/ERP (Odoo/SAP).
- Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English to communicate across all levels of the organization.
