Job Description
An HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role manages a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR recordkeeping.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Maintain employee records and HR databases accurately and confidentially
- Administer employee benefits, leave requests, and payroll coordination
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Coordinate training and development programs
- Assist managers with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture programs
- Conduct new hire orientation and exit interviews
- Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Min 3+ years of HR experience preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Preferred Skills
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration
- Conflict resolution and employee coaching skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
