Jr. Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting senior accountants in preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, receipts)
• Maintain and update accounting journals and ledgers
• Assist in preparing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Help prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
• Monitor financial discrepancies and report inconsistencies
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred Qualifications (Optional)Internship or prior experience in accounting/finance
• Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting
